Harry Bertoia‘s
Diamond Chair
Harry Bertoia‘s designed his most famous piece, the diamond chair, in 1952 after gaining interest in industrial material, elevating it beyond it‘s normal utility into a piece of art. The master sculptor Bertoia delivered a astonishing study in space, form and function. This piece is assumed to be an older version of the original diamond chair but overall in really good vintage condition. A great find that matches every interior and will last almost forever.

Eames „La Fonda“
A set of 4 Fiberglass Chairs “La Fonda” by Ray and Charles Eames, designed for the restaurant La Fonda del Sol of Alexander Girard in the early 60ties. Girard wanted the chairs to be lower than the height of the table top which is the reason for the lower and rounder style of shape in the design of this series. These chairs came in one colour only (light greige) and had fixed upholstery that was removed on some chairs later in time (as it was the case with these four chairs). Those four chairs also got another base over time which makes them a pretty rare sight. The base is signed by Herman Miller.
